I did NOT forget to do the hood ROS at the start of the round. I forgot to post it. :)



Was it vermin, or was it Orla's goat? Regardless, everyone loses 20% of food resources not stored in their refrigerators larders.

This might have more of an effect if it'd happened next round, but no one has a lot of food in their inventory right after spring, since the main harvests are in summer and autumn. Also, I kinda aggressively sell off/store whatever sims gather right away.

First household in spring: Shep! Now with additional Gytha! Gytha has packed her trunk and come to stay with Shep as her assistant/apprentice potter/to get her out of the Salter household before either she or Brigid strangles the other one.

I did roll for ROS, but it was one of the ones I deleted because I didn’t feel it suited my game, which I’m taking as ‘nothing of note happened’. Sometimes these households need a break, they’ve got enough going on as it is. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Shep is having a pretty calm autumn. She checks on the bees (she’s glad now that her mothers insisted she bring that queen bee cell all this way to start a new hive, because the honey has been a nice little boon), chats up random passersby, and works a little bit on her weaving in the evening before it gets too dark for fine work.

Veridia Round 1: Shep

Shep gets to be my trial-and-error sim and go first this round. As you can see, she’s super thrilled about it.





She soon spots Norweni, starting off on her usual rounds from the Seax farm next-door, and rushes to say hello. Shep has only recently set up shop in Veridia, moving out on her own from her mothers’ home nearby, but Norweni’s younger exploits are legendary in the wider area. Shep would love to hear some stories, maybe over a cup of mead sometime.

Norweni: That’s all in the past. I prefer not to talk about it. Everything good here? You need anything?

Shep: Uh, no–

Norweni: Great. Let me know if that changes.

Can we all stop standing in the decorative cart???
