This might have more of an effect if it'd happened next round, but no one has a lot of food in their inventory right after spring, since the main harvests are in summer and autumn. Also, I kinda aggressively sell off/store whatever sims gather right away.

I finally got around to rearranging Shep's furniture so I can let the deco roof ceiling thing show like in Orla's house. I'm sure everyone is really invested in this outcome.
Shep inherited 6,000!!! simoleons from some relative whose name she may or may not have forgotten. Score!

Since the twins are in different households now, I decided to invite Glamaer to Gytha's party and age them up at the same time. (I should've done Enna then too, but for some reason I thought she was a day younger than them.)

Shep's wheat is still growing well, and there's definitely no drought this year.

Hey, do you remember when I said Shep was starting the process of mead-making? Me neither, til I was uploading those older rounds. I finally got her some kegs and there's some mead brewing. She really needs a shed.
The garden is still here, but it's becoming a lot to keep up with on top of the bees, the brewing, and the pottery/pottery stall.
There's a ten lot tile strip of land between Shep's lot and Seax farm; I think next round I'm going to have Shep buy it from them, get rid of the garden, and build her a small workshop/storefront instead.
Shep and Gytha make a trip to the well before dressing up in their good clothes for the Longest Day festival.
Shep: She's so hot... and vulnerable, so I absolutely cannot tell her that. But she's so hot!
So now that I finally broke up Shep and Derelei, she (Shep) keeps rolling ‘go on date’ wants. Of course. There’s like four other queer women her age in town: one is her ex, one is her best friend/they also dated briefly, one is said best friend’s soon-to-be ex-wife, and the fourth is Myr, who is crushing hard on Diseta.

Gytha: Why are we terrible at this?
DRUSTAN, GET OVER IT, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

Even though they're going to wait a little while to actually marry, Gytha and Angus decided to make their betrothal official after the festival.
Shep: Hey, if you ever want me to fight your cheating wife or what's-his-dickface, I will totally do it.
Diseta: That is the worst idea I've ever heard, but I appreciate the sentiment. I think.
Shep: I'm kinda drunk, so you might gotta remind me about this.
Diseta: I could tell, Shep.

Sneak preview of adult!Drustan, because I got tired of seeing teen!Drustan glaring at Gytha and Angus all the time and went off to age up him and Jia. Now he can do the same thing, but he's taller.
Gytha: Hey, Dunk!
Drustan: Hey. I heard from someone that you and Angus are going to marry. Is that true?
Gytha: Yeah! I mean, not right away, but maybe in a year or two? I dunno. We're not exactly rushing things like my brother and Enna.
Drustan: Oh. I... see.
Lune is wandering the village and stops to chat with Gytha. Gytha thinks Angus's little sisters are simply adorable, especially when she's not the one helping care for them, lol.
Don't worry, Willow is supervising Lune.
Gytha: What sort of dress do you think I should wear for my wedding? Eventually, I mean. It's just good to think about these things ahead of time, right?
Shep: Oh, don't ask me that, I wear my dresses until they're just patches and bare thread.
Oh, are we teaching Sun how to drink tonight? What a lovely family activity!

Luckily Brigid soon disavows her of any notions of hotness. She's just as unpleasant as Gytha said.

Shep: Oh, it's you. You've got a lotta nerve, coming into Veridia and ruining perfectly happy relationships—

Gytha: So I think my mentor and your sperm donor are fighting.
